SNOW!

i lost track of time.
i just got to know that its a thurs, the 17th..and
IT SNOW-ED!
OMG!!!

well..
we made it quite a big deal. hehe.
currently residing at the outskirts of london..
Warwick to be exact.
it snowed when we were leaving london.
and today it was snowing...3 times!
haha.
oh and the weird thing is..it nvr actually snows in london.
so its kinda like a freak wheather.
but..
who's complaining!
HAH! :p

staying with tiff's Help Uni friend: Rui Zhe.
so..it started off when me and my sis were in the kitchen.
then tiff went:
"omg..its SNOWING!"
then i was like..."oooooooooooooooooooo"
and i opened the window and tried to reach for the snow.
some seconds later..
rui zhe was running along the corridor shouting:
"IT's SNOWINGGGGGGGGGG"
and he fell.
lol.
too much adrenaline.
haha.

he ran outside..
so me and my sis followed along.
he then called the other 2 Malaysian girls.
and the 5 of us were acting like 'dungus' playing in the snow outside.



That was the first time of the day.

it snowed again..later on:





it snowed the 3rd time on our way back from walking around the area.
it was about 4 something and dark already.

i woke up at 8.30.
VERY UNLIKE ME.
guess my body haven got used to the new timing here.
anyhow went walking with my sis around the area here.










hoping for more snow!

Halfway around the world.

At 11 something, i made my way to the airport along with my 3rd aunt and family.

with me, was the 2 check in luggages and a hand luggage.

so we hung around the airport till it was time for me to board the plane.
honestly, i was friggin scared to travel alone.
anyhow, i was to take the sri lankan arilines with transit at singapore, and colombo.

i got a front window sit..
enjoyed the ever-so-beautiful skies outside.
:)

reached singapore pretty fast then waited to board the plane again..
tried contacting my mom but din realize that my hp has no roaming.
panicked a lil...cuz i kinow my mom will be worried if i dun get back to her.
so i fbed her instead :D

the journey to colombo was about 3.5 hrs later on.

in colombo, i had to make my way to the transit counter for them to send me to a hotel.
cuz the next plane isnt till 8 hrs later.
and then they told me..theres 3 hrs delay!

so i sat and waited for my transport.
this is just a look of the sri lanka airport.

Reached the hotel and it was about 7.30 pm local time..10 pm malaysia time.
Had my dinner and was joined by a grp of Malaysians.

this the room i got. :)
and the toilet.

8+3 hrs of wait..
weeeeell....i did a lil picture taking.
haha

slept for 3-4 hours i think.
woke up to catch my flight at 5:30 local time.

At the airport..went on fb again.
the plane was pretty full.
i had a friendly elderly sri lankan lady beside me.

there i was..
on the plane..
with 12 hrs to spare!
the longest time ever!
my butt getting starting to get numb.
and i felt bad disturbing the lady if i wanted to get out.
out of the 12 hrs..
i went to toilet..
once!
hahahaha.
the rest of the time...i was either watching movies, listening to jap and eng music or looking outside.
finally watched gforce, up and aliens in the attic.
i think i slept for bout 3-4 hrs too.

anyway the scenery outside was pretty awesome.
this was above the baghdad mountains...it was literally cloudless and all i could see was sand sand and SAND!

NOw here, was when it got me interested..it's SNOW!
but i think its somewhere near Yerevan.
and then finally...LONDON!
going through immigration was another scary time for me..
but i managed to..without a problem.
thank god.

met my sis then.
(she was in tears..bit la...hehe)
she was in the airprt for 5 hrs.
poor thing.
cuz she sent her friend back earlier.
we then took the tube...which is their subway train to get to her place.
dragged the 18.3 kg bag + 12 kg bag + 5 kg hang luggage.
not fun.

reached bout 4 plus and it was getting dark already.

went out to the supermarket with her 2 friends to stock up. cooked sausages and had salad too for dinner.

somewhere outside the supermarket.

i took a day just to make my way to London.
good experience for me though.
glad i did..and thanks ma for the opportunity :)

Church time!



and yeaps..walked to the Emmanuel Evangelical Church which was 30 mins away.
Surprising walkin in london din get any complains from me.
if back..ill be complaining the whole time.
haha.

waliked into the Dean's yard in Westminster Abbey.





i couldn't help but to feel as if someone picked me up and placed me in a western movie.
it was as if i was walking in a movie.
like when i saw this kids in black cloaks..they reminded me of Harry Potter.

Eye Of London




Tiffany's place at Northumberland is pretty strategic.
Everywhere is walking distance.
i saw all this on the way to her church.


Thats the view in the daytime..
i slept for 4 hrs i think when we reach her place..
but we went out again to see how it would look at night.



we walked across the Jubilee Bridge towards the Eye of London.

ok..now its time for me to get ready. my fourth day here now.
time flies.
its 9 in the morning..my sis still fast asleep.

Past yet Memorable Events

* My 21st*

A few days after my birthday..when everyone was still busy with cheerleading practices and the final imu cup games, i got a surprise from some of them. :)

was supposed to have lunch with them but elaine insisted that i go over her place first.

so when i did, they came out with a birthday cake!

weeeeeeeeee...

i love surprises. :)

it was a mango cake...surprisingly it tasted good!

so a BIG thank you for the cake and the surprise!

IMU CUP finale.

Every cheerleader from different teams were all pumped up in adrenaline..excited and nervous for the cheer competition they have been shedding their blood and sweat for the practices. The teams were:

Griffin

Taurus

Pegasus

Draco

Hydra

Phoenix

From hair to make up to full dress rehearsals...everyone was making sure they were 101% ready for the competition.

In the midst of doing so, most of them started snapping pics.

When it was our turn to perform..i was scared..like MAD,

eventhough going up the stage wasn't something alien to me.

in a blink of an eye..everything was over.

Off i went, taking pictures with the rest of them.

with the B107 cheerleaders;

With the friendly and wacky phoenix cheerleaders;
with cheerleaders from other houses;
even did a few stunts too :)
most of all, through this..i met good friends,

friends with the same wavelength,

spontaneous,

fun.!

we dint go back empty handed either! :D

ok..maybe not that many medals..

haha..this one;

nevertheless..i enjoyed my time with the different ppl from different batches.

A whole different bunch of ppl from the previous cheer team from imu cup 2007; Spartans.

Spartans were just crazy fun and friendly.

Miss those peops alot.

will be seeing them in uk this christmas!

weeeeeeeeeeee. :D

but

i always enjoyed cheerleading.

both the people and the dancing.

always have..

and always will.

exams are OVER!

YAYYYYYYYYY!!!

BUT

results are out in 2 wks.

hope everything turns out fine.

although exams are over, somehow i still find myself busy.

Maybe when i go to Tawau, i will be free..

that'll be tomorrow.

anyways, yes my blog seems dead..but it aint anymore..hopefully.

it has been a long day..and a long wkend too.
